Our design team starts by empathizing with the target users: sleep-deprived individuals who dread waking up to the sound of their traditional alarm clocks. They conduct interviews and observe the morning routines of their potential customers, gaining insights into their struggles and frustrations.

After collecting data, the team identifies the core problem: traditional alarm clocks are too harsh and jarring, causing stress and anxiety upon waking up. The goal is to create an alarm clock that wakes users up gently and gradually, easing them into their day with a smile on their face.

Brainstorming sessions are filled with wild and wacky ideas. Someone suggests a pillow that slowly inflates to gently lift the sleeper out of bed. Another team member proposes a scent diffuser that releases the aroma of freshly brewed coffee to entice users awake. The team explores every idea, no matter how absurd, in pursuit of the perfect solution.

Armed with the best ideas from the ideation phase, the team gets to work creating prototypes. They design a pillow with built-in air chambers that inflate gradually at the set alarm time. They also develop a prototype of a scent diffuser that releases the aroma of bacon frying in the kitchen. These prototypes are tested and refined based on user feedback.

The prototypes are tested by a group of willing volunteers who agree to use the Snoozeinator 3000 for a week. Feedback pours in, with users praising the gentle wake-up experience provided by the pillow and the delightful aroma of bacon wafting through their bedrooms. The team makes further adjustments based on the feedback, refining the product for launch.
